Smith and Wesson Model 1 1/2 First Issue
The Model 1 1/2 was made from 1865 to 1868, and is only available as a .32 rim fire, single action revolver. This is a late production model, in excellent condition. It has the usual 3 1/2 inch octagon barrel, and five-shot, non-fluted cylinder. The gun retains about 80% of its original blue and the rosewood grips are excellent without cracks or missing chips. The grip varnish is 90% intact. The hinge is tight, the cylinder indexes correctly, the action is crisp and strong. The bore is clean with a few dark patches on the right side, and the rifling is crisp. A very handsome little gun. SN#22877, rated excellent overall.
